Flight Booking Terms

Fare rules, baggage policy, check-in, cancellation and refund terms specific to flight bookings on OnlyOnTrip.

These terms apply specifically to flight bookings made through OnlyOnTrip, operated by Journey Express LLP. By completing a flight booking, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.

1. Role of OnlyOnTrip

OnlyOnTrip acts as a booking intermediary. The actual contract of carriage is between you and the airline. The airline's own Conditions of Carriage apply to your travel.

2. Fare Rules & Pricing

  • Fares are dynamic and subject to change until the booking is confirmed and payment is received.
  • All fares are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of base fare, airport taxes, and applicable government levies unless stated otherwise.
  • A convenience fee of ₹149–₹499 per passenger (depending on the route and booking class) is charged by OnlyOnTrip. This fee is non-refundable on cancellation.
  • Seat charges, meal upgrades, and baggage add-ons are over and above the displayed fare.

3. Passenger Details & Name Accuracy

  • You are responsible for entering all passenger details (name, date of birth, passport/ID number) exactly as they appear on the travel document.
  • Most airlines do not permit name changes after ticketing. Minor corrections (1–3 characters) may be possible at the airline's discretion and may attract a fee.
  • OnlyOnTrip is not liable for denied boarding or cancellation caused by incorrect passenger details.

4. Baggage

  • Baggage allowance depends on the fare class and airline policy. The allowed cabin and check-in baggage is displayed at the time of booking.
  • Excess baggage charges are levied directly by the airline at the airport.
  • Sports equipment, medical equipment, and special items are subject to the airline's own policies.

5. Web Check-In & Boarding

  • Web check-in is typically available 48 hours to 1 hour before departure. Use the airline's official website or app.
  • Report to the airport boarding gate at least 45 minutes (domestic) or 90 minutes (international) before departure.
  • OnlyOnTrip is not responsible for missed flights due to late arrival at the airport or check-in counter.

6. Cancellation by You

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before scheduled departure via Manage Booking or by contacting our support.
  • Refunds are subject to the airline's fare rules. Non-refundable fares (saver, special promo) will not yield a cash refund — only statutory taxes may be refunded.
  • OnlyOnTrip's convenience fee of ₹250 per passenger per sector is non-refundable on any cancellation.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of receiving them from the airline, back to your original payment method.

7. Cancellation by the Airline

  • If the airline cancels or significantly reschedules your flight, you are entitled to a full refund of the base fare and applicable taxes.
  • OnlyOnTrip will process airline-initiated refunds within 7–10 business days of receiving the refund from the airline.
  • We will assist with rebooking at no extra charge, subject to fare availability.

8. No-Show

Failure to check in or board a flight without prior cancellation constitutes a no-show. No-show bookings are non-refundable except for statutory taxes, at the airline's discretion.

9. Travel Documents

  • Domestic flights: Any valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter ID).
  • International flights: Valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond the return date. Entry visa / eVisa for all destination and transit countries.
  • Children under 12 travelling alone are subject to airline Unaccompanied Minor policies.

Flight Booking Terms — Key Points

When you book a flight on OnlyOnTrip, you enter into a direct contract with the airline. OnlyOnTrip acts as a booking agent and facilitates the transaction. These terms supplement the airline's own conditions of carriage and apply specifically to bookings made through the OnlyOnTrip platform.

Fare Rules

  • Each fare class has its own rules for cancellation, date change, seat selection, and baggage allowance.
  • Non-refundable fares (typically labelled "Saver" or "Base" fares) do not yield a cash refund on cancellation. Airline taxes may be partially recovered.
  • Refundable fares are cancellable for a fee equal to the airline's cancellation charge, with the balance refunded to the original payment method.
  • Date-change fees vary by airline and fare class — typically ₹2,000–5,000 per passenger plus any difference in new fare.

Name Changes and Corrections

Minor spelling corrections (up to 3 characters) may be possible for an admin fee. Complete name changes (transferring a ticket to a different person) are generally not permitted by Indian carriers. Always double-check passenger names before confirming payment — name correction fees can be significant (₹500–3,000 per ticket) and must be completed before check-in opens.

No-Show Policy

If you miss your flight without prior cancellation, the booking is treated as a "no-show" by the airline. No-show bookings forfeit the full ticket value on most fare types. A limited refund of airline taxes may still be claimed within 90 days of the original travel date — contact our support team to initiate this process.
